The NBA has announced that it will stage regular-season games in both Berlin and London as part of the 2025–26 campaign, further expanding its global presence.
The Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic are set to face off in Berlin on January 15, 2026, followed by a rematch in London on January 18.
As part of its growing European strategy, the NBA has committed to hosting six regular-season games across the continent over the next three seasons.
A Historic First in Germany
The Berlin matchup will mark the first time a regular-season NBA game is played in Germany. Notably, it will serve as a homecoming for brothers Franz and Moritz Wagner, both members of the Orlando Magic, who hail from Berlin.
In the following season (2026–27), regular season games will be held in Paris and Manchester, while the 2027–28 season will feature contests in Paris and Berlin once again.
The upcoming game in London will add to the city’s strong NBA legacy. London has previously hosted nine regular-season games, with the most recent one taking place in 2019 between the Washington Wizards and the New York Knicks.
Beyond London, the NBA has also brought regular-season action to Paris, Mexico City, and Tokyo, showcasing its commitment to global expansion.
The NBA’s decision aligns with a broader trend in American sports, where major leagues are taking regular-season games overseas to grow their fan bases.

The NFL, for example, has been hosting games in London annually since 2007 and expanded to Germany in 2022, with Munich and Frankfurt alternating as hosts. Berlin is also scheduled to host an NFL game in 2025.
