ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando Magic’s Franz and Moe Wagner will get to play a home game this upcoming season — literally.

The Magic and Memphis Grizzlies will play a regular-season game in Berlin on Jan. 15, 2026 and one in London on Jan. 18, 2026, part of a three-year schedule of NBA games in Europe, the NBA announced Wednesday.

The Magic and Grizzlies will play NBA regular-season games in Berlin and London on Jan. 15 and Jan. 18, 2026

Berlin is the hometown of Orlando’s Franz and Moe Wagner, and forward Tristan da Silva was born in Munich, Germany

The games open a three-year schedule of NBA games to be played in Europe, with games also set for Berlin, Paris and Manchester, England in 2027 and 2028

The teams also will take part in NBA Cares initiatives, youth basketball clinics and interactive fan activities in Berlin and London

The Berlin game, which is expected to be on the upcoming schedule as a home game for Orlando, will be played at Uber Arena (Berlin), and the London game, which is expected to be considered a home game for Memphis, will be at The O2.

“To have the Orlando Magic and the NBA play a regular-season game in our hometown of Berlin means everything to us,” the Wagner brothers said in a statement. “Growing up here, we dreamed of moments like this. It’s a huge honor to represent Berlin and Germany and show how much the city and country love basketball. We hope we can inspire kids the way we were inspired watching games from afar.”

Orlando starts All-Star forward Paolo Banchero, former Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane, guard Jalen Suggs and center Wendell Carter Jr. as well as Franz. The Grizzlies feature All-Stars Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr., and former Magic guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who joined the team during June as part of the deal that brought Bane to Orlando.

Franz and forward Tristan da Silva, who was born in Munich, are on Germany’s team for EuroBasket this summer. Franz and Moe played on the team that captured the gold medal for Germany at the 2023 FIBA World Cup in 2023. This summer, Moe is recovering from surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and won’t be able to play in EuroBasket, but he is expected to be back on the court by January for the Magic’s game in Berlin.

The NBA Berlin Game in 2026 will be the 14th game in Germany featuring an NBA team since 1984 and the league’s first regular-season game in the country.

The London game will mark the 19th game in the United Kingdom since 1993 and the league’s 10th regular-season game in London. In October 1993, a Magic team that featured center Shaquille O’Neal, point guard Penny Hardaway, shooting guard Nick Anderson and forward Dennis Scott played two preseason games in London in October 1993.

“Having proudly represented the NBA and the city of Orlando in Brazil, China, England, Japan and Mexico through The NBA Global Games, we are always honored to showcase our team on the world stage,” Magic President of Business Operations Charlie Freeman said in a statement. “These upcoming games mark our 14th and 15th international appearances, and we are continually inspired by the passion and enthusiasm of fans across the globe.”

The games will be just part of the NBA experience that the teams will bring to Germany and London. The Magic and Grizzlies also will conduct NBA Cares community outreach initiatives, Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA and Her Time to Play youth basketball clinics, coach and referee development programming and interactive fan activities in those cities.

Ticket sales information will be announced at a later date. Fans can register their interest and enter for a chance to win free tickets by visiting NBA.com/EuropeGames. Ticket packages offering premium access, VIP experiences and hospitality are available at nbaexperiences.com/nba-europe.

The games in Europe mean the Magic will have 40 home games instead of the regular 41 at the Kia Center in the 2025-26 season. The Magic typically adjust season-ticket pricing accordingly, but season ticket-holders can reach out to their Magic representative if they have questions.

The games will be broadcast live across Europe and around the world to fans in more than 200 countries and territories on television, digital media and social media.

The games in Berlin and London are the start of a three-year schedule of NBA regular-season games in Europe. The league also announced that it will play regular-season games in Manchester, England, and Paris in 2027 and in Berlin and Paris in 2028. The dates and teams for the 2027 and 2028 games will be announced before the 2026-27 and 2027-28 seasons, respectively.

“Announcing the next three seasons’ regular-season games in Europe reflects the incredible momentum and appetite for NBA basketball in France, Germany, the UK and across the region,” said George Aivazoglou, the NBA’s managing director for Europe and the Middle East. “We look forward to welcoming the Grizzlies and the Magic to Berlin and London and to engaging fans, players and the local communities through the games and the surrounding events.”
