‘Thanalysis’ podcast from Bucks’ Thanasis Antetokounmpo worth a listen

Forward Thanasis Antetokounmpo launched his own podcast in February and it’s already a good listen for basketball insight and Bucks stories.

The Antetokounmbros will reunite on the same court, part of the Greek national team in the upcoming EuroBasket competition.

Thanasis Antetokounmpo, 33, who hasn’t played in more than a year in the NBA as he rehabs from a torn Achilles, has been added to the roster as a replacement for 19-year-old Neoklis Avdalas.

Thanasis joins his brother, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, as the only NBA-adjacent player on the Greece roster, though Thanasis remains a free agent. Kostas Antetokounmpo, who plays for Greek pro team Olympiacos, is on the roster, too.

Greece will compete in “Group C” of the event, facing Italy in the first group-phase game Aug. 28. The European basketball championship governed by FIBA comes around every four years.

In 2022, Greece went 5-0 in group-stage play with Giannis leading the tournament in scoring (29.3 points per game) but bowed out in the quarterfinals against Germany.
