Cooper Flagg has been honored and celebrated in numerous ways since he dominated the college basketball world while playing for Duke and was selected as the No. 1 overall pick by the Dallas Mavericks.
None can match the pure enormity of the latest tribute to the Maine native.
Near his hometown in the Pine Tree State, Charlie Peavey, the co-owner of Thunder Road Farm, has created a corn maze that has the outline of the basketball superstar. Even better? Some of Flagg’s family and friends contributed to its creation.
“Cooper inspires the crowd at Duke or anywhere when he gets an open dunk and brings the crowd to life,” Peavey said, per KCEN. “That’s what he’s kind of known for, so that’s what we wanted to do the design of.”Â
Five acres and close to 800 rows of corn make up the tribute to Flagg.
