TULSA, Okla. — McLain High School for Science & Technology announced Ashlee Pitts has been named the Head Coach of the McLain High School Girls Basketball, pending approval by the Board of Education.
According to the announcement, Pitts is a former student-athlete and graduate of East Central High School. She served as an assistant coach at Rogers State University after a collegiate playing career at Southwest Baptist University.
McLain High School shared the following statement from Pitts in a Facebook post:

“Coach Pitts’ return to Tula Public Schools represents an exciting full-circle moment for our district and the McLain community,” said Mick Wilson, Executive Director of Athletics for Tulsa Public Schools. “Her commitment to the game, player development, and the growth of our student-athletes will be a phenomenal asset to the proud Titan program, both on and off the court.”
