The SEC revealed the 2026 conference basketball schedule on Wednesday, setting the stage for another loaded season. 18 conference games were announced for each member of the league, with Tennessee’s slate set to begin on January 3rd. Tennessee will wrap up their regular season on March 7th.
Honestly, there’s nowhere to hide on the SEC schedule anymore with how deep this conference has gotten, but January is going to be a doozy. The Volunteers will pay John Calipari a visit to tip things off. Road trips to Florida and Alabama loom in the coming weeks after. Home games against Texas, Texas A&M, Auburn and Kentucky round out a loaded month.
Things ease up in February, but road tests at Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri and Vanderbilt will all be tough to handle. A late season showdown in Knoxville comes against Alabama on February 28th.
This conference slate comes in addition to a non-conference schedule that includes Rutgers (Vegas), Houston (Vegas), at Syracuse, Louisville and Illinois (Nashville). Tennessee will also play an exhibition against Duke in Knoxville on October 26th, which will be here before you know it.
