Texas State women’s basketball released its upcoming conference schedule for the 2025-26 season as it approaches its final year in the Sun Belt. The Bobcats will be moving to the Pac-12 in 2026 after accepting an invitation to join in late June.
Texas State begins its season at home with the MAC-SBS challenge against Ohio University. The team will host Louisiana in Strahan Coliseum to open conference play, with the regular season concluding on the road against Arkansas State. Following that, Texas State will participate in the 2026 Sun Belt Women’s Basketball Championship, which will be held March 3-9 at the Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola, Fla. The non-conference slate will be released at a later date.Â
The Bobcats finished 13-17 in the 2024-25 season, going 7-11 in conference. They drew Marshall in the first round of the Sun Belt Championship, and despite a strong effort, lost 68-62 to the 11th seed. In the offseason, the Texas State roster lost its top scorers as Jaylin Foster exhausted her eligibility and Ja’Mia Harris transferred to Auburn. The Bobcats reloaded with five JUCO transfers and two from other Division I schools.Â
