Jent was also on Brown’s staff in Cleveland from 2006-2010, and stayed on an extra year after Brown left in 2011. As a player, Jent played in New York for one season from 1996-97.

According to SNY’s Ian Begley, Jent will be the team’s offensive coordinator under Brown.

In 2024-25, the Knicks made it to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in 25 years, and have big expectations to make it to the NBA Finals in 2026.
