EuroBasket 2025 continues to approach as teams around the continent begin preparing for a run at the championship late in the summer. Teams will head to either Cyprus, Finland, Latvia, or Poland and will look to lead their country to a championship in 2025.
The Philadelphia 76ers will have a representative in the tournament as second-year big man Adem Bona is set to play for the Turkish national team, but per Basket News, the Sixers will also have another representative in the tournament.
Igor Milicic, who the Sixers signed to an Exhibit 10 contract shortly after the draft ended, will have an opportunity to make things happen in EuroBasket, playing for Poland. He averaged 9.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists while shooting 47.2% from the floor and 31.4% from deep in the 2024-25 season while playing at Tennessee. He also played at Virginia and Charlotte in his collegiate career.
With Milicic on an Exhibit 10 deal, he will likely head to the team’s G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, as he continues with his basketball career. The Sixers will likely give him a look in the G League and give him every opportunity in the future to earn a spot in the NBA.
