Boston Celtics backup point guard Payton Pritchard just dominated another offseason pro-am tournament. The NBA’s reigning Sixth Man of the Year set himself a new personal (and all-time) scoring record in the annual Canadian pro-am tourney “Ball Don’t Stop,” besting his previous tournament record of 61 points scored in a single game with a new bar of 68 points.

Fast PP did it against a mix of the best NBA and other pro players mixed with streetball sensations and NCAA standouts, not some collection of guys plucked out of a men’s league, making the achievement not a minor one. Ahead of a season the Celtics will need the University of Oregon alum to step up in a major way for Boston, this is the sort of thing one doesn’t mind seeing for offseason recreational activities for Pritchard.

the hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance, took some time on a recent episode of their show to talk it over. Check it out below!
