Two games on the Detroit Pistons‘ 2025-26 regular season schedule were announced on Tuesday, August 12.
They will host the Cleveland Cavaliers a 7 p.m. on Oct. 27, leading off Peacock’s exclusive slate of Monday national TV games next season. It’s the first half of a double-header, with the Minnesota Timberwolves hosting the Denver Nuggets afterward at 9:30 p.m.

The games were part of special dates released by the NBA prior to its full schedule release in the coming days.

The Pistons also will conclude a slate of four Martin Luther King Jr. Day games, hosting the Boston Celtics on Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. on Peacock and NBC. It’s the Pistons’ first MLK Day home game since 2018. The holiday will lead off with the Atlanta Hawks hosting the Milwaukee Bucks at 1 p.m., followed by the Cavaliers hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder at 2:30 p.m. before the Dallas Mavericks head to New York to face the Knicks at 5:30 p.m.
All four games will air on Peacock, and every game except Hawks vs. Bucks will also air on NBC.

The regular season will tip off with an Oct. 21 doubleheader, with the Thunder hosting the Houston Rockets at 7:30 p.m. and the Los Angeles Lakers playing a home game against the Golden State Warriors afterward at 10 p.m.
The Pistons will tip off their four-game preseason on the road against the Memphis Grizzlies on Oct. 6, and will also face the Bucks on the road Oct. 9, Cavaliers on the road Oct. 14 and the Washington Wizards at home Oct. 16. The latter two games will both be at 7 p.m. Eastern, and the Grizzlies game is scheduled for 8 p.m. the time of the Pistons-Bucks game is TBD.
