CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) — The Charlotte Hornets will be away from the Queen City and play the reigning NBA champions twice in the preseason this year.
The team announced their five-game schedule Tuesday ahead of 2025-26 season, with its two “home” games being played in Greensboro and North Charleston, South Carolina, due to renovations at the Spectrum Center.

Charlotte heads south to play Dallas, where on Oct. 11 Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel will face off against former Duke teammate and this year’s No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg.
They host Memphis Grizzlies at Greensboro’s First Horizon Coliseum on Oct. 15, and wrap up the preseason by traveling to New York City and taking on the Knicks Oct. 17.
