Detroit — The NBA announced its complete schedule for the 2025-26 season on Thursday afternoon for all 30 teams.
The Detroit Pistons will play the first of an 82-game slate on Oct. 22 in a road game against the Chicago Bulls. It will mark the start of a two-game road trip that will end on Oct. 24 against the Houston Rockets at Toyota Center.
The Pistons will play their first regular-season home game on Oct. 26, when they welcome the Boston Celtics to Little Caesars Arena. It will mark the start of a four-game homestand that ends against the Dallas Mavericks on Nov. 1. However, the Pistons will host the Mavericks at Arena CDMX in Mexico City.
The Pistons announced that single-game tickets are now on sale. Fans can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster, the Detroit Pistons app or by calling 313–PISTONS. Tickets are also available at the Xfinity Box Office at Little Caesars Arena, which is open Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m.
Detroit’s road game against the Brooklyn Nets on Nov. 7 will mark the start of the 2025 Emirates NBA Cup Group Play. The results of the In-Season Tournament will add two additional games to Detroit’s schedule at a later date.
The Pistons will embark on their longest road trip of the season on Dec. 22 in a game against the Portland Trail Blazers. It’s a west coast swing that will feature road games against the Sacramento Kings (Dec. 23), Utah Jazz (Dec. 26), Los Angeles Clippers (Dec. 28) and Los Angeles Lakers (Dec. 30).
A game against the Miami Heat on Jan. 1 will be the beginning of seven out of their next eight games being played at home. This will include a five-game homestand for Detroit with games against the New York Knicks (Jan. 5), Bulls (Jan. 7), Clippers (Jan. 10), Phoenix Suns (Jan. 15), Indiana Pacers (Jan. 17) and Celtics (Jan. 19).
After the All-Star break in mid-February, the Pistons will begin the second half of the season with a four-game road trip, starting against the Knicks on the 19th. They will open March on a three-game road trip with games against the Magic (Mar. 1), Cleveland Cavaliers (Mar. 3), and the San Antonio Spurs. They will conclude their regular-season schedule with a road game against the Pacers on April 12.
During this season, the Pistons have 16 nationally televised games and 14 back-to-back sets. The Pistons will play four preseason games before the start of the regular season.
Their preseason opener against the Memphis Grizzlies on Oct. 6 will be the first of a three-game exhibition road trip, which also includes contests against the Milwaukee Bucks (Oct. 9) and the Cavaliers (Oct. 14). The Pistons’ lone preseason game at LCA will take place on Oct. 16 against the Washington Wizards.
