Due to his exceptional contributions, Siakam earned the Eastern Conference Finals MVP award. He averaged 24.8 points per game on 52.4% shooting from the field and 50% from three-point range. In the NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Pacers showcased their dominance, pushing the series to a decisive Game 7.
Unfortunately, luck was not on their side when Haliburton suffered a torn right Achilles tendon during the first quarter of the game. As a result, the Pacers lost 91-103, and the Thunder claimed the championship.
