It’s late in the offseason on the NBA calendar and now is the time for everybody to begin trickling back into the gym and preparing for the upcoming season. August is the time for Pro-Ams and open gym runs in an effort to stay sharp for the new season.
Philadelphia 76ers big man Andre Drummond took his talents to South Beach and competed in the Miami Pro League. The big man teamed up with former NBA center Hassan Whiteside as well as his former teammate with the Detroit Pistons, Brandon Knight, as their team took home the title down in Miami.
Drummond had a tough first season in his return to Philadelphia as he was limited to only 40 games due to a bothersome left toe injury. He averaged 7.3 points and 7.8 rebounds as he will look to bounce back in the 2025-26 season. Everybody knows this roster is much better than 24-58 so the Sixers will count on health this time around in order to get back on the right path.
