NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers and iHeartMedia have agreed to a multi-year extension of their partnership, as iHeart’s sports “Rip City Radio 620” KPOJ Portland, OR enters a 13th season as the Blazers’ flagship. iHeart will remain the official broadcast carrier for Blazers games on the Trail Blazers Audio Network, with coverage heard on 12 stations serving Oregon and Washington state, including KPOJ.

The Blazers’ broadcast booth features Travis Demers, who will be calling the plays for a seventh full season, with analysis from former Trail Blazers guard Michael Holton. KPOJ’s Chad Doing will return as host of the Trail Blazers Audio Network’s pre- and post-game shows, while Chris Burkhardt will host “Blazers Gameday” and “The 5th Quarter” before and after each game.

Additionally, KPOJ will expand its Blazers coverage with two new weekly programs: “Trail Blazers Insider Report” hosted by Sean Highkin, airing live Tuesdays 2-3pm and replaying Wednesdays 6-7pm; and “The Blazers Wrap Up” hosted by Brendan Slaughter, a recap of all the Trail Blazers news Thursdays 6-7pm.

“Rip City Radio and iHeartMedia have been great partners for more than a decade, delivering the energy and passion of Trail Blazers basketball to fans across Oregon and Washington,” Portland Trail Blazers Chief Marketing Officer Kevin Kinghorn says. “As we start an exciting new chapter, this extension strengthens our ability to connect with fans through additional in-season content and year-round programming, delivering the moments that make Rip City fandom so unique.”

iHeartMedia Portland President Marshal Burgess adds, “Renewing our partnership with the Portland Trail Blazers is an incredible moment for all of us. The Blazers represent the spirit of Portland — resilient, passionate and deeply connected to their fans. We’re proud to stand alongside an organization that continues to inspire and energize the community, and we look forward to creating even more memorable moments together in the seasons ahead.”
