The Philadelphia 76ers will head into the 2025-26 season looking to bounce back from a miserable 24-58 year. The Sixers were expected to contend for a championship in 2025, but instead were decimated by injuries as their Big 3 of Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey played only 18 games together and finished 15 of them.

As the Sixers head into the new season, there will be challenges along the way in terms of tough stretches of the 82-game grind. For example, per HoopsHype, the toughest months in the upcoming season will be January and February in terms of strength of schedule.

Some teams the Sixers are set to face in January are the Denver Nuggets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston Rockets, and New York Knicks. That will be a challenging stretch for Philadelphia.

As long as the Sixers are healthy, they should have a great chance to win in the upcoming season. The East is wide-open and Philadelphia will just need some injury luck to get it done in 2026.
