The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball program has officially set a date with the Binghamton Bearcats, per release. The Orange will open the season by hosting Binghamton on Monday, November 3. Syracuse and Bingham was reported earlier this summer, but a date hadn’t been finalized.

With that, the Syracuse non-conference schedule is complete. The ACC is moving from 20 league games down to 18 beginning this season, thus giving Syracuse 13 total non-conference games.

Syracuse and Binghamton last played in 2013 with the Orange winning 93-65. The Orange owns a 5-0 series edge all-time against Binghamton. The Orange will also play in the Autumn Invitational at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia against Drexel on November 15.

Highlights to the non-conference include a showing in the Player’s Era tournament in Las Vegas, a Thanksgiving week tournament that awards $1mm payouts to each participating program’s preferred collective. An additional $1mm payout will be granted to the tournament winner. Syracuse will also play St. Joes in Las Vegas two dats before the Player’s Era begins.

The Orange will host Tennessee in the annual ACC/SEC Challenge.
