As the Dallas Mavericks begin the Cooper Flagg era, they have put together quite a strong roster.
The Dallas Mavericks have rebounded in a way no one expected them to. After the Mavericks traded Luka Doncic to the Lakers, fans felt that their future was doomed.
Things got even worse when the Mavericks lost Kyrie Irving to an ACL injury. Following this, the Mavericks would go on a brutal losing streak, but one that would save their franchise.
Against all odds, the Mavericks won the Cooper Flagg sweepstakes in May, thus securing their next franchise star.
Now, as they prepare to unfurl the red carpet for Flagg, the Mavericks have assembled quite a strong roster around the young sensation.

The Dallas Mavericks have done their best to surround Cooper Flagg and Anthony Davis with the right type of players.
Now, as their efforts come to an end, this is what the Mavericks roster looks like:

Kyrie Irving is set to be out for the start of the season, as he continues his recovery from an ACL tear. In his place, D’Angelo Russell will be the starting point guard.
In Irving’s absence, the Mavericks lack a strong second-unit point guard and will have to rely on two-guards like Max Christie and Jaden Hardy to deputize in the role.
Cooper Flagg will be the linchpin of the team
Heading into the new season, the Dallas Mavericks will be heavily reliant on Cooper Flagg. The young rookie will have to shoulder a lot of the responsibility.
The Mavericks have Flagg penciled in to play big minutes next season, as his youth can provide the team with a much-needed shot in the arm.
Getting to play with current and former All-Stars at different positions will give Flagg some great insight into the positionless basketball that is so popular in the NBA.
Flagg will have to live up to astronomical expectations. But he has the talent and the environment to become the next big NBA superstar.
