The Milwaukee Bucks haven’t really done a great job in building a roster around Giannis Antetokounmpo to win a championship.
The Milwaukee Bucks had a poor performance in the playoffs yet again, getting knocked out in the first round for the third straight season in a row.
Since their 2021 NBA championship win, Giannis Antetokounmpo and his side have won just one playoff series in the last four years.
After Damian Lillard suffered an Achilles tear in the playoffs, the Bucks felt they were backed into a corner. And to address their roster, the Bucks waived Lillard to sign Myles Turner.
This move felt like a desperate attempt to suppress the rumors of Giannis Antetokounmpo demanding a trade. But it will have a significant impact on their roster next season.

The Milwaukee Bucks are perhaps one of the most front-loaded teams in the NBA. Their backcourt depth has suffered massively during this offseason.
This is what the Bucks lineup could possibly look like:

The Bucks’ lack of depth at the guard position, especially at the point guard spot, makes things very difficult for them.
Cole Anthony is the Bucks’ only natural point guard. Ryan Rollins is a combo guard who can deputize at the position. But an injury to either star could put the team in a very difficult position.
Milwaukee Bucks can’t afford to fail next season
While Giannis Antetokounmpo isn’t going to leave this season, that doesn’t mean the Bucks are safe from any future trade demands.
Even though Giannis Antetokounmpo has said on numerous occasions that he loves Milwaukee and wants to finish his career with the Bucks, he has also stated his desire to win multiple championships.
If the Bucks aren’t able to put together a championship squad beyond this season, then Giannis could genuinely consider leaving the team.
Myles Turner will have to step up for the Bucks and put up All-Star numbers to try and make the Bucks a formidable force in the Western Conference.
