Orlando Magic rookie Noah Penda was among the players on the team who were pictured working out this week at the AdventHealth Training Center.

Penda was joined by teammates Desmond Bane, Anthony Black, Jamal Cain, Wendell Carter Jr., Jonathan Isaac and Tyus Jones during the session. Much of the roster has been in and out of the facility throughout the offseason, with Penda among those to hit the court.

The offseason period is an excellent chance for incoming rookies to hit the court with their new teammates to build chemistry. After playing with a few roster players in summer league, Penda had the opportunity to work with some of the veterans.

Penda was named the LNB Pro A Best Young Player last season with Le Mans Sarthe, averaging 10.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.4 steals on 44.7% shooting from the field in 30 games. He ranked fourth in the league in steals and 13th in rebounding.

The 32nd pick logged three appearances with the Magic in summer league, averaging 11.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, three assists and 1.7 steals on 51.7% shooting from the field. He neared a double-double on July 13 with nine points and 14 rebounds.

Penda was highly touted entering the draft because of his scoring, defensive versatility and length, boasting a 7-foot wingspan. The team was excited to add him in the draft and is eager to see him take the court next season.
