2K Games revealed earlier this month that guard Egor Dёmin will be the highest-rated rookie on the Brooklyn Nets to begin the upcoming season with an overall mark of 72.
Demin is among a crowded draft class for the Nets, joining Nolan Traoré (19th pick), Drake Powell (22nd pick), Ben Saraf (26th pick) and Danny Wolf (27th pick). They became the first team in history to select five players in the first round of the draft.
The group of players, along with the rest of the rookie class, had the opportunity to submit their face scans for the next installment of the popular video game at summer league in Las Vegas. The team was there to document the experience in a recent video uploaded on YouTube.
Oklahoma City Thunder guard and MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the cover athlete for the Standard Edition of NBA 2K26. Joining Gilgeous-Alexander as a cover athlete are Carmelo Anthony (Superstar Edition) and Angel Reese (WNBA Edition).
2K Games rolled out the top 100 attribute ratings this month, along with the 10 highest rookie rankings ahead of the worldwide release on Friday. Michael Porter Jr. is the lone player on the Nets represented in the top 100, while Demin is ninth among all first-year players.
The Nets provided a great look at how incoming players receive their respective appearances in the NBA 2K video game series. The players will likely be excited to see the final product.
