After a busy offseason period, the Atlanta Hawks enter the 2025-26 season as one of the front-runners in the Eastern Conference with a revamped and healthy roster.

The front office made a splash after acquiring Kristaps Porziņģis from the Boston Celtics for Georges Niang and draft picks. The team also signed Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Luke Kennard, and selected Asa Newell with the 23rd pick in the 2025 NBA draft.

Atlanta currently has the fourth-highest odds (plus-850) of winning the conference. The group is hopeful that adding those players next to the likes of Trae Young, Jalen Johnson, Onyeka Okongwu, Zaccharie Risacher and Dyson Daniels can help it contend next season.

With the team opening training camp on Sept. 29, Rookie Wire examined the Hawks’ depth chart and projected the starters and backup players entering the preseason.
