The Philadelphia 76ers are in the process of preparing for the upcoming 2025-26 season with training camp right around the corner. Now is the time on the NBA calendar when players begin to get their final prep in for the offseason and get ready for the grind of the 82-game season.

Sixers star Tyrese Maxey is a player who lives in the gym and has done so all summer in an effort to move on from a disastrous 24-58 season. The Sixers were decimated by injuries–specifically to stars Joel Embiid and Paul George–and a lot of weight was placed on Maxey. He is looking to get Philadelphia back moving in the right direction in the coming season.

In order to do so, Maxey was in the gym working with trainer Chris Johnson as well as 2-time NBA champion Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

Maxey is a maniacal worker who just wants to be great in this league. His current trajectory suggests that it will happen sooner rather than later as he continues to prepare for his sixth season in the NBA.
