The top pick in the NBA Draft for the defending NBA champion OKC Thunder has suffered a season-long setback, according to the team.

Thunder forward/center Thomas Sorber tore the ACL in his right knee during an offseason workout in Oklahoma City on Thursday. Sorber was coming off a serious foot injury he suffered in college. He did not participate in Summer League play.

Sorber, the 15th overall pick, was selected after his freshman season at Georgetown, where he averaged 14.5 points,8.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2 blocks and 1.5 steals.
