Putting together hypothetical trades for star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown has become something of a national pastime. Or so it can feel in the depths of the NBA’s 2025 offseason, the summer doldrums’ lack of news a driving force behind the proliferation of imaginary deals for the Georgia native.
But lately, a number of the trade proposals being floated by bored NBA analysts have been getting lazy at best, and in some cases the dreamt-up transactions for Brown are simply outrageous in their lopsidedness. The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance, took some time on a recent episode of their show to talk it over.
