What sort of a grade should we give Boston Celtics big man Neemias Queta for his play in FIBA EuroBasket? The Celtics center made history with the Portuguese National Team in EuroBasket this summer, starting off with one of the most impressive debuts by any player in the history of the tourney.
The Lisbon native used that 23-point, 18-rebound, 4-block debut to help power Portugal to their first-ever win in tournament history. And after a pair of solid performances in losses to FIBA powerhouses Serbia and Turkey and another to the Latvian National Team and former teammate Kristaps Porzingis, Queta and Portugal secured one more win vs. the Estonian National Team to advance to the knockout round for the first time, bowing out against the German National Team in the end.
The man behind the “Nik NBA” YouTube channel put together a clip taking a closer look at Queta’s play in particular to give him a grade for his EuroBasket play. Check it out below!
