Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic has been one of, if not the, best players in the league in recent years. The big man from Serbia has three MVP awards and a Finals MVP when he led the Nuggets to their first championship in 2023.
Philadelphia 76ers forward Guerschon Yabusele did a Q&A session on social media and was asked who the best player he’s ever played against is. The Dancing Bear’s answer heaped praise on Jokic as his answer to the question, but he did acknowledge that in the NBA, he takes on incredible players on a nightly basis. That’s just how it is in this league.
Yabusele and Jokic had a battle back in February when the Sixers fell to the Nuggets 137-134. Yabusele had 28 points and seven rebounds and Jokic added 28 points, 13 assists, and nine rebounds while making big shots down the stretch to seal the win for Denver.
