How real are the Lakers as NBA title contenders?
The Lakers have been on a roll since trading for Luka Doncic, but are they good enough to win a championship?
Guard Luka Dončić led the way on offense for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, but it wasn’t enough to fend off the Minnesota Timberwolves in a 116-113 loss.
Dončić was trying to will his team back into the series. The Timberwolves lead the series 3-1.
Dončić had 27 points, eight assists and seven rebounds in 40 minutes in Game 3 while he was dealing with a stomach illness. He was said to be feeling better before Game 4.
