PHOENIX — Breanna Stewart’s status for Game 2 of the Liberty’s first-round playoff series is up in the air after she exited Sunday’s overtime win with an injury.

Stewart was being evaluated by team doctors upon the team’s return to New York on Monday and had an MRI done on her left knee, a source confirmed to The Post.

The Liberty were off Monday but are scheduled to practice Tuesday. It’s expected coach Sandy Brondello will have an update by that time.

There was a somber mood in the news conference room Sunday night once the Liberty walked in after beating the Mercury 76-69 in overtime.
