Indiana Pacers rookie Taelon Peter is among those who are participating in a players-only minicamp organized by Pascal Siakam at his offseason home in Orlando, Florida.

Nearly the entire roster has been spotted this week in the various workouts and on-court drills posted by Siakam on Instagram. The sessions have helped the group ramp up their activity and get on the court together before the start of training camp on Sept. 30.

The three-time All-Star hosted a similar camp last year, with the majority of the roster in attendance, as well. The camps have enabled the players to build chemistry with one another and see the improvement each has made over the offseason.

Peter was the Conference USA Sixth Man of the Year last season at Liberty, averaging 13.7 points, four rebounds and one assist on 45.3% shooting from 3-point range. He led the country in true shooting percentage (72.4) and was 19th in player efficiency rating (27.2).

The 54th pick debuted with the Pacers in the NBA Summer League, averaging 9.5 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists on 57.1% shooting from the field in four appearances. He produced a summer league-high 15 points on July 12 in a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Peter will split his time between the NBA and the G League after signing a two-way contract on July 24. He is eligible to be active for up to 50 games in the NBA and will earn $636,435, which is equal to 50% of the minimum salary applicable to a player with zero years of service.
