The New York Knicks continue building their roster depth as the new season approaches.

They recently signed forward Tosan Evbuomwan, who once drew comparisons to NBA legend Grant Hill, to an Exhibit 10 contract.

The Knicks also improved their backcourt depth by signing former Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon.

With training camp and preseason starting in October, the Knicks have added another player who brings size and physicality to their frontcourt.

So it’s all in one place, here are Knicks’ three players on two-way deals entering training camp, per SNY sources:

Trey Jemison’s bold Dwight Howard comparison highlights his physical advantages

Trey Jemison III joins the Knicks after making headlines for comparing his build to former Lakers star Dwight Howard.

Speaking on a Pelicans podcast last season, Jemison confidently described his genetic gifts.

“These are genetics, I was blessed with Dwight Howard shoulders from a young age. I try to use them to set those screens and handle my business,” Jemison explained.

Like Howard, Jemison has Lakers history. Last season, he appeared in 22 games for the Lakers, averaging 10.2 minutes with 2.6 points and 2.8 rebounds per game in a limited role.

His most extensive NBA action came during the 2023-24 season with the Memphis Grizzlies, where he made 14 starts in 23 appearances.

He averaged 7.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.2 blocks, and 1.2 assists in 24.9 minutes per game.

Jemison will occupy one of the team’s three two-way spots alongside Evbuomwan.

Kevin McCullar Jr. is expected to return on a two-way deal as well, completing the developmental roster.

The big man enters a competitive center depth chart that includes Karl-Anthony Towns, Mitchell Robinson, Ariel Hukporti, and Guerschon Yabusele, who are all vying for roster positions.

The Knicks have also brought in Alex Len on a training camp deal, adding another veteran option competing for a final roster spot.
