Richard Jefferson is not a fan of how Draymond Green disrespected his former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate.
Draymond Green is no stranger to controversy. In fact, the Golden State Warriors legend has made a career out of his ability to ruffle feathers.
Whether it’s on the court or off the court, Green has a knack for getting under people’s skins. On the court, it’s with his relentless defense and pest-like jabs.
Off the court, Green has the ability to make some wild statements, which is able to generate a lot of discourse.
Most recently, Draymond Green slammed Matthew Dellavedova while praising LeBron James as the GOAT. And now, Richard Jefferson, who played with LeBron and Dellavedova, has come after Green.

Richard Jefferson spoke on the Road Trippin’ podcast about Draymond Green’s recent comments about Matthew Dellavedova.
Jefferson reminded fans that the NBA is the best basketball league in the world, and that Dellavedova brought a lot of good to the table.
“If people knew how good at basketball you had to be to suck in the NBA, if you knew how good you had to be.
“Are we being real right now? Come on. Hey, look, was Deli the ultimate underdog? Yes. Deli battled his way.
“Deli would die for you. Give me that man in battle, any single day, not in practice, but in a game. Deli had some dog in him.”
2016 Cleveland Cavaliers squad needed all players to perform at high level
Matthew Dellavedova was one of the many players on the legendary 2016 NBA championship-winning Cleveland Cavaliers squad.
While LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and to an extent, Kevin Love, get most of the credit for that incredible turnaround in the series, it was truly a team effort.
Players like Richard Jefferson, J.R. Smith, Channing Frye, and yes, Matthew Dellavedova played a huge role on that team.
To discredit any of these players, not just for their role on the team, but for their talent, is to do a great disservice to them.
