The Memphis Grizzlies put together a solid season last year that saw them finish eighth in the Western Conference standings, though they were unable to make it out of the first round as they got swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Memphis then began their offseason by trading Desmond Bane to the Orlando Magic in a surprising move, leaving Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. to lead the way this season.

Despite moving on from Bane, the Grizzlies did make some key additions to their roster this summer as they acquired Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, drafted Cedric Coward and signed Ty Jerome.
With these moves, Memphis is looking to compete for a top seed in the West this season, though they may look to make more upgrades to their roster ahead of the trade deadline.
If that is the case, these three players could be potential trade targets for them.
Malik Monk

With the loss of Bane this offseason, the Grizzlies are in need of another scoring guard and they could target Sacramento Kings veteran Malik Monk.

Of course, the Kings were looking to move Monk earlier this offseason and they may be open to moving him ahead of the deadline.
If that is the case, Memphis could show interest as the veteran guard would give them a solid scorer and playmaker off the bench.
Sam Hauser

With the Boston Celtics possibly being open to trading Sam Hauser this season, the Grizzlies could target him to bolster their forward depth.
Hauser is a great 3-point shooter who could be a key piece off the bench for the Grizzlies as they try to make a run at a top seed in the West.

Despite this, many teams should show interest in the veteran forward if Boston makes him available, which could lead to Memphis having to outbid other teams to acquire him.
Jonathan Isaac

While Jonathan Isaac played a key role for the Orlando Magic last season, they could be open to moving him ahead of the trade deadline.
If this is the case, Memphis could target the veteran forward to upgrade their wing depth while also adding another great defender to their roster.

While Isaac does excel on the defensive end while being a solid scoring option, his injury history could cause the Grizzlies to look elsewhere to upgrade their forward depth.
