Phoenix Suns insider breaks down Bradley Beal contract buyout

The Suns bought out guard Bradley Beal’s contract, ending his time in Phoenix. The Republic’s Duane Rankin explains what it means for the team.

The Phoenix Suns have seven players returning from last season’s team, which won just 36 games and didn’t even reach the play-in tournament.

Devin Booker, Ryan Dunn, Royce O’Neale, Grayson Allen, Oso Ighodaro, Nick Richards and Collin Gillespie are back as the Suns look to bounce back from their first losing season since 2019-20, which was the last time they missed the playoffs before last season.

The Suns begin training camp Sept. 25 at the team’s practice facility. The Suns open the 2025-26 regular season Oct. 22 against the Sacramento Kings at PHX Arena.

So, where are the remaining 13 players from Phoenix’s 2024-25 team who are no longer with the franchise?
