The Indiana Pacers’ most reliable player, Tyrese Haliburton, continues to engage with fans and media this offseason. He is currently rehabbing with his torn ACL and is likely to miss the entire season next year. Despite the setback, he keeps himself engaged with the Pacers’ management for the team’s decision-making.

Haliburton is recovering fast, and his recent shooting workout impressed fans with his early potential from the injury. Recently, in an episode of The Young Man and the Three podcast, Haliburton recalled his journey with Stephen Curry during the Olympics. Haliburton did not play much, but he used the time to learn from Curry. That mentorship helped him grow as a leader, and it showed when he led the Pacers to the NBA finals last year.

“He is so unbelievable the way he can, like, he remembers people,” Haliburton said about Curry. “He cares about people. I mean, I just, I can’t say enough good things about Steph. And then, like, through the Olympic experience, for me, I didn’t play a ton, so a lot of it was for me to learn, and pick guys’ brains, and Steph was just that guy for me. After every practice, I’m like, ‘I gotta work out with Steph. I got to do what he’s doing and kind of take things from him.“

For some fans, it was a surprise when Tyrese Haliburton overcame big names to make Team USA in the Olympics, but coach Steve Kerr had faith in Haliburton for his playmaking. And now he looks like the future point guard of Team USA.

Haliburton is a massive fan of both basketball and WWE. He helped cover the WWE event Wrestlepalooza on ESPN and made predictions. He also expressed excitement about matches between Cena and Lesnar and Phodes and McLntyre.

Even while recovering from injury, he showed his love for wrestling by posting “GOAT last time in Indy lock in” before John Cena’s final match in Indianapolis. He shared a video of himself lying on a bed with six championship belts.

His post and involvement showed his passion and how he connects with wrestling.
