After making a few roster changes, the Sacramento Kings enter the 2025-26 season looking to return to the postseason in their first full year under coach Doug Christie.

The Kings acquired Dario Šarić from the Denver Nuggets in exchange for Jonas Valančiūnas. The front office also added Drew Eubanks and Dennis Schröder via free agency, and brought back Doug McDermott on a one-year contract.

The team selected Nique Clifford (24th pick) and Maxime Raynaud (42nd pick) in the 2025 NBA draft. Raynaud signed a three-year, $5.95 million contract via the second-round pick exception, which is guaranteed for the first two seasons.

With the team opening training camp on Sept. 30, Rookie Wire examined the Kings’ depth chart and offered an early projection of the starters and backups entering the season.
