The Los Angeles Lakers are hoping to make another Finals run before suyperstar forward LeBron James walks away from the game forever and calls it a career. However, much of the talk around the Lakers last season centered on the role of his son, Bronny, who the Lakers selected in the second round of the NBA draft, on the team.
However, James has another son looking to crack the NBA, his youngest son Bryce James. However, LeBron has decided that he’s not waiting to play with Bryce the same way that he did for Bronny.
“I’m not waiting on Bryce. I don’t know his timeline,” LeBron said at the Lakers’ media day, according to NBACentral.
Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“Yea we not waiting on Bryce, his time will come and if we’re still in the league by then, then that’s a plus but the main focus is championships until we’re done,” one Lakers fan wrote on Twitter.
“Lol he learned his lesson forcing bronny into the league when staying in college longer would’ve been way more beneficial for his long-term nba success smh,” someone else added.
“The goal is to help Bronny develop Bryce might need a couple years in college to develop,” one fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see if Bryce ever joins his older brother in the NBA.
