Wolves All-Star Anthony Edwards averaged over three turnovers per game last year. So, this summer, he went to work on his ball-handling.
“My physical therapist, D-Hines, he’s the best in the world by the way, he gave me these gloves, ball handling gloves,” Edwards said at Monday’s Media Day. “I think that was the best idea he’s ever had, and me and C-Hines, have been working on ball handling all summer. And I’ve never been able to handle the ball this good in my life.”

Edwards averaged 27.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game last year.
When asked about the tough landscape of the Western Conference, Edwards said they have to worry about more than defending champ Oklahoma City.
“I don’t think it’s just the Thunder,” he said. “I think it’s a whole bunch of teams that got better this summer. I think the Nuggets are going to be really damn good. Give (Nikola) Jokic a couple of shooters, man? They’re going to be hard to beat, so I think we’ve got to focus on more than just the Thunder.”
Edwards is entering his 6th NBA season.
The Wolves have their first training camp practice on Tuesday at Mayo Clinic Square.
