The lone hold out? The game at Madison, as the Big Ten’s in charge of Wisconsin’s home games.

Let’s just jump straight into the breakdown of how you’re going to watch Marquette men’s basketball season, shall we? Here’s the list of networks MU is appearing on in the regular season, sorted by total number of appearances:

FS1: 8
Peacock: 7
TNT: 5 (4 simulcast with truTV)
ESPN+: 4
NBC: 2 (both simulcast with Peacock)
truTV: 2
ESPN: 1
Fox: 1

If you’re not a completist or if you’re a season ticket holder, you’ll get through this season without ESPN+. Those four are Albany, Southern, Little Rock, and Valparaiso. All home games, all buy games. If you are a season ticket holder, you’re going to need Peacock. Six of the seven games exclusive to NBC’s streaming platform are road games, and five of them are in Big East play: at Creighton, at St. John’s, at Seton Hall, at Georgetown, and at Providence. The only home game on Peacock is Maryland, and the other one is at Purdue.

I can’t help but notice that Marquette’s weeknight home game against Dayton is exclusive to truTV, aka the channel that we all make fun of for needing to figure out where it is in the channel lineup on your cable provider when the First Four games of the NCAA tournament are starting. Making that funnier? MU’s other truTV exclusive is a Saturday afternoon contest against Central Michigan. Dayton on a Wednesday night is, in the eyes of the Big East’s TV partners, roughly equivalent in value to Central Michigan on a Saturday afternoon. You can’t make these things up.

Oh, the Oklahoma game. That one was still a mystery, and since it was a neutral site game, it was unclear exactly who was going to handle the television responsibilities for it. After last year’s fiasco with Georgia on FloSports, it’s nice to see that 1) the OU game is on TV and 2) It’s going to be on broadcast television with NBC picking it up. That’s good news relative to the fact that, at least as of the morning of October 1st, tickets are not exactly flying off the shelves for this game on a holiday weekend that only just now has an assigned start time.

Did I miss anything of note? Here’s the full schedule, and if something jumps out at you, shout it out in the comments.
