The Chicago Bulls are hoping to turn their fortunes around next season, as they hand the keys to Josh Giddey.

The Chicago Bulls are finally putting the finishing touches on what has been a fairly quiet offseason for the legendary franchise.

The biggest priority for the Bulls was re-signing Josh Giddey, especially after they traded Lonzo Ball to land Isaac Okoro this summer.

Adding to their depth, the Bulls signed Yuki Kawamura to their roster, providing a more valuable resource to head coach Billy Donovan.

Just days ago, the Bulls signed Giddey to a $100 million contract, thus securing his future with the team for years to come.

The Chicago Bulls are ready to try and compete in what is a depleted Eastern Conference after the events of last season’s playoffs.

This is what their roster is expected to look like:

The Bulls GM refused to trade Nikola Vucevic, meaning that the Montenegrin center is with the franchise for yet another season.

The addition of Isaac Okoro to the roster complicates matters. Much like he did on the Cleveland Cavaliers, he will be fulfilling a bench role on the Bulls.

The Chicago Bulls are hoping to rise in the Eastern Conference

The last few seasons have been quite difficult for the Chicago Bulls. After what looked to be the start of a new era in the 2021-22 NBA season, the Bulls have failed to make any noise in the playoffs.

Their experiment to build a contender around Zach LaVine didn’t work out for a variety of reasons. But now, with Josh Giddey and Matas Buzelis as the foundation of their team, they have another chance.

Now, this is no guarantee that Billy Donovan can turn this team into a competitive side this year. The building blocks are there, but they need a lot to go their way.

The Bulls will be one of the more exciting sides to watch next season, as they will have a great young core leading the pack.
