ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – There are still no suspects and no arrests five days after a shooting during a basketball tournament in Clayton County.
Family members identified one of the victims as Jordan Smith, a high school standout athlete who moved to metro Atlanta from New Jersey two years ago.

Smith played that night and was hit multiple times.
His family is raising money for his rising medical bills as he continues to fight for his life. Atlanta News First spoke to his coach and mentor, who is just glad Smith survived this.
“When you hear what went on in that surgery, it’s a miracle – just an amazing medical staff and surgeon that really took care of him,” said Brian Klatsky, Smith’s coach.
Smith spent days in critical condition but now his prognosis is looking better each day.
We asked Forest Park police if there were any updates in the case but they told us there are none at this time.
