Cam Johnson has been very impressed with one Denver Nuggets star for the way he attacks the game on both ends of the court.
The Denver Nuggets have put together a championship roster yet again this offseason, taking a note from their last two second-round exits in the playoffs.
Bringing in the likes of Cam Johnson, Jonas Valanciunas, Tim Hardaway Jr., and Bruce Brown is a statement of intent.
But during preseason, it’s been the Nuggets’ stalwart players that have stood out. David Adelman praised Aaron Gordon for his versatility yet again.
On top of that, Adelman also complimented Peyton Watson’s ball handling during the preseason. And now, yet another Nuggets’ youngster has earned praise, this time from one of the Nuggets’ new arrivals.

Cam Johnson spoke to reporters after Denver Nuggets practice ahead of their preseason opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
When discussing his new teammate, Christian Braun, Johnson praised his relentless hustle, but was most impressed by his knack for getting to his spots.
“He’s always in the right spot. He plays hard, defends hard, lingers around the basket, cuts, (is) knocking down shots. But the main thing is, he has a knack for getting to the right spot.”
Christian Braun is considered by many to be the Denver Nuggets’ most underrated star. In fact, Braun defended Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the playoffs, earning a lot of praise for his performances.
Heading into the new season, the young star will be eager to impress. Braun wants a $30 million P/A contract next summer, but he’ll have to earn that with strong performances next season.
“(CB’s) just always in the right spot.”

Denver Nuggets ready to compete for the NBA championship
The Denver Nuggets have a strong roster next season, and are expected to be in the mix for the NBA championship.
Nikola Jokic will continue to perform at an MVP level, barring any injuries or unforeseen circumstances hindering him.
The roster around him will have to deliver at a high level if the Nuggets want to live up to their championship aspirations.
With David Adelman now having a full preseason to implement his ideas, the Nuggets are in a strong position heading into the campaign.
