EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Michigan State men’s and women’s basketball continued its longstanding tradition of Michigan State Madness on Friday night at the Breslin Center.
It was the first look for MSU fans to see all the new players on both teams in action, with the women having a skills competition and the men with a dunk contest.
Michigan State then transitions outside to the Izzo Campout, which is where MSU students that are a part of the Izzone camp outside overnight, and the players and Tom Izzo join them.
Michigan State women’s basketball hosts Michigan Tech for the only exhibition on Oct. 22. The MSU men’s team will host Bowling Green on Oct. 23 and then travel to UConn.
