Sheppard (undisclosed) won’t play in Tuesday’s preseason game against the Timberwolves, Tony East of WTHR Channel 13 Indianapolis reports.
It’s not immediately clear what type of injury Sheppard is dealing with. However, coach Rick Carlisle expects him to return at some point during the preseason. Sheppard’s next chance to play comes Saturday against the Thunder.
