Should the Boston Celtics trade for New York Knicks wing Pacome Dadiet? At least one NBA analysts thinks that the Celtics ought to kick the tires on what the ask might be for the rising prospect, who is currently the most obvious answer for New York to solve a cap crunch problem only moving salary to another ball club’s cap space will solve.
And with Boston’s front office looking for cheap talent with upside to surround Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum with (once the latter is back from an Achilles tendon injury ironically picked up against the Knicks in the 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals), such a move makes sense for Boston if the ask is not a huge one.
