Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.
Here we are again, and it’s great to be back watching Spurs basketball, isn’t it? It’s only the preseason, but the regular season is only a few weeks away, so let’s all sit in front of the television or whatever device you’re watching on, and catch a glimpse of one of the most hopeful seasons in years for the Silver and Black.
Because this is preseason, and the Spurs don’t generally make their televised game available to a wide audience, Pounding the Rock is going to have limited coverage tonight. If you’re in San Antonio, you should be able to watch it on CW35. The Spurs play the Heat in a few days and that game will be on the NBA network, so I’ll be doing the Final Score for that one.
