The Dallas Mavericks have a loaded roster going into the 2025-26 NBA season.
Even though Kyrie Irving will miss the first couple of months with an ACL injury, the Dallas Mavericks have depth at every position.
No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg already looks as advertised as he and Anthony Davis will be a fascinating duo to watch this season.
At full strength, the Mavericks could be a legitimate championship contender in the Western Conference.

The Mavericks have added another player ahead of the new season, who will be an interesting option for them at the guard position.
The Mavericks have signed former Toronto Raptors guard Dalano Banton. Banton was the first-ever Canadian to be drafted by the Raptors franchise.
Toronto selected him 46th overall in the 2021 NBA Draft. Banton showed some promise with the Raptors, but he was never able to carve out a consistent role with the team.
He averaged 3.7 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 95 games with Toronto. In Dallas, Banton will join fellow Canadians Dwight Powell and Ryan Nembhard.
The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have signed guard/forward Dalano Banton. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In a related move, Dallas has requested waivers on guard Matthew Cleveland.
