Even with John Haliburton banished from NBA arenas, the Indiana Pacers have kept winning.

The father of Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton — who has had baseline seats at Gainbridge Fieldhouse all season — has had to watch at home since his confrontation with Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo at the end of the first round of the NBA playoffs.

Tyrese Haliburton and his teammates sent his father a message from the locker room Tuesday night after winning their Eastern Conference semifinals series over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

“Free Pop,” Haliburton said with a laugh during an appearance on the “Pat McAfee Show.”

So when can the elder Haliburton return to games?

Tyrese Haliburton said: “The league left it at ‘foreseeable future.’ I don’t know what that means.

“I’m sure he’d love to get back in the building. He’d probably get an ovation,” he said as he and McAfee dreamed up WWE-style intros for John Haliburton’s return.

Haliburton and McAfee also discussed LeBron James, who posted support for Haliburton during his torrid second-quarter Tuesday night. Haliburton scored 15 of his 31 points in the second quarter of Indiana’s Game 5 win.
