The second half might have been a bit of an adventure, but the Celtics managed to hang on to a 121-103 victory over the Grizzlies.
The headline from this one: Jaylen Brown looked good, as he looks to settle into an alpha role for the Celtics. He scored 21 points in his 20 minutes on the floor, pacing an offense that scored 68 first-half points. He also showed some fire, shoving Vince Williams after the Memphis guard yanked his arm in the second quarter.
Rookie Hugo Gonzalez also made a strong debut, while newcomers Chris Boucher, Josh Minott and Luka Garza showed their potential fits in their new roles.
